In the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems Group, you will help commercialize groundbreaking Wireless Technologies in Apple products. Key Qualifications Deep experience leading a development team towards delivery of large scale SW products Expertise in designing, developing and debugging wireless technologies Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (C/C++ & Python/Perl) and debugging Strong experience building and leading teams with a diverse set of backgrounds and years of experience Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills Deep understanding of 5G NR Control/User Plane and PHY/MAC procedures Good knowledge of communication theory, digital signal processing, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) Experience with using lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, cellular test boxes among others) for test and debug is a plus Link or system simulation experience with Matlab or NS3 is a plus Passionate and inquisitive with a focus on solving everyday problems in innovative ways Attention to the smallest details that are meaningful to customers Description We are looking for experienced leader who can help us build a Wireless Software/ Systems Team. As a leader, we expect you to bring in fresh ideas, and have the ability to drive decisions. You will have the opportunity to play a major role in building our next generation wireless solutions in Apple products. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and an expert technical leader that combines deep technical knowledge along with strong leadership skills. In this role you will lead a highly motivated team to delivery quality solutions in a demanding environment. You will be able to introduce new ideas and prototype them to demonstrate value for inclusion in Apple's product portfolio This role involves identifying and/or developing core wireless technologies that solve everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines. This position requires high level thinking to design solutions along with excellent programming skills. The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and lead in a constantly evolving environment are crucial to this role. Education & Experience Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications or equivalent
