HIGH LEVEL JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE: The Wells V&V Advisor position Key Job Responsibilities include coaching employees and contractors on safe execution of MSW Standards and other serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention objectives for Wells. The Wells V&V Advisor will lead field engagements with MCBU Operations Personnel and Business Partners when specific high risk activities are being performed to coach and mentor on the critical safeguards necessary to perform the work safely and to ensure they are in place and understood. These engagements are documented in the Enterprise V&V Tooi and the data from these engagements is share across Wells. This role reports out on engagement observations and progress on key incident prevention focus areas and makes recommendations for continuous improvement. The Wells V&V Advisor is responsible for partnering with the Wells Superintendents, Wells HSE Team and Operations Managers to standardize the implementation of our MSW procedures, Operating Procedures, and other key SIF (Serious Injury & Fatality) prevention efforts. The Wells V&V Advisor will also network with other V&V personnel in the BU to further learning and sharing on V&V implementation progress. The Wells V&V Advisor may also lead special projects, strike teams or other continuous improvement/standardization efforts as directed by Wells
