Leading troubleshooting efforts
Implementing modifications
Determining root causes of equipment failures
Supporting engineering and production
Creating solutions to increase equipment reliability
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Possess a two (2) year Technical Degree in a maintenance field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR a minimum of two (2) years of maintenance work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Possess a current and valid Driver's License
Ability to work overtime
Ability to work rotating shifts (First and Second)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Possess a two (2) year technical degree and five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment completed and verified prior to start.
Welding certificate from accredited institution
Related experience in heavy industrial environment
Ability to work independently or with teams
Strong written and oral communication skills
Travel: None
Relocation Assistance: Not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
