United Rotary Brush is a Lenexa, Kansas based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plow blades. Our East Bridgewater, MA, manufacturing facility is looking for a Welder. Our positions are a great fit for those individuals that take pride in their work to produce a quality product for our customers. 1st Shift : Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

WELDER

The Welder is responsible for the process to operate equipment to assemble plow blades.

WELDER OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cut and prepare material for welding according to specifications.
• Weld drive components to the blades.
• Accountable for storage of material and assembly components.
• Inform management of material shortages or defects.
• Maintain component materials in an organized fashion
• Assist in inventory cycle counting.
• Willing to learn and help with other duties in the warehouse when needed.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

WELDER EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related welding experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Mig/Tig welding required; welding certification is preferred.
• Must be able to operate equipment and tools, specifically - press machine, drilling machine, band saw, blowtorch, and air powered tools.
• Able to operate a forklift.

Note: A $500.00 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 3 months of continuous employment with United Rotary Brush in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment in their current qualified position will receive another $500.00 bonus. The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. Details of this program will be discussed at time of hire.
