Position Summary
Finishing welded parts by grinding, cleaning, and sanding, while performing quality checks on completed parts. This is a great opportunity to learn more about welding as a career choice and the potential for hands-on training.
Start time: 5 AM
Duties and Responsibilities
Grinding and Clearing welded parts of excess spatter
Responsible for operating tools including grinders and sanders
Quality check on completed parts looking for pinholes, contamination, or other defects
Working independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high-quality standards
Focuses on continuous improvement by identifying, eliminating, and preventing obstacles to efficient product flow, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
Ability to use computers
Great attention to detail is required
