Job Overview

The Web Customer Support Analyst will be responsible for gaining a sound understanding of the Mouser websites in order to provide our global branches and external customers with support and training for issues related to Mouser's global ecommerce websites. This position will work closely with the Web Customer Support Manager and the Service Excellence Team to align with customer service expectations, training documentation, operating procedures and gap analysis internationally. ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide tier one support and use the web customer feedback system to ensure reported issues/problems are resolved quickly Respond to external feedback received from Mouser web customers Work with Internet Business QA teams to replicate reported customer problems for quick identification and resolution of bugs or larger issues Must be able to translate technical speak into understandable terms for a customer Provide feedback to management for training needs and process improvements Ensure customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally Own customer issues and follow problems through to resolution by following established procedures and utilizing knowledge of the website and processes Communicate with internal and external customers on the phone or via email Willingness to receive and be receptive to feedback provided from senior team members Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Willing to work with a team and handle communication with teams across the globe Provide tier one and tier two support and use the web customer feedback system to ensure reported issues/problems are resolved quickly Support Web Customer Support Manager with all Web Experience Team initiatives Strategic mentality to assist in the improvement of Web Customer Support Team and Web Experience Department SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly describe processes to a technical and non-technical audience Must possess a customer service mindset Flexibility and aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of web technology Ability to quickly learn new applications Ability to ask the right questions, understand the need, and identify solutions within an ecommerce environment Exhibits strong analytical and problem solving skills Expert technical aptitude needed with a high computer literacy Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly describe processes to a technical and non-technical audience Mastery level knowledge of web technology within an ecommerce environment EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Master's Degree in a technology or web related field preferred 6 years of e-commerce, contact center, customer service, or technical/web experience required Expert technical aptitude needed with a high computer literacy, and the ability to quickly learn new applications This is a summary of the primary accountabilities and requirements for this position.
