We are currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer for the Atlanta office.

If you are an experienced engineer interested in growing your skills and working on exciting projects, then this is a great opportunity for you. The Water Resources Engineer candidate will be responsible for drainage analysis, design and production; bridge hydraulic analysis , specifications, reports, and estimates efforts on conventional and design-build projects for GDOT, county and municipal clients. Additional responsibilities include monitoring labor budgets and schedules for assigned tasks/projects; coordinating with discipline key task leaders and staff to ensure ongoing communications; meeting project deliverable schedules and budgets for assigned projects; and supporting marketing and business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university;
8+ years of work experience within the field of civil engineering specializing in water resource designs specific to highway and bridge projects;
Georgia professional engineering (PE) registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment;
Proficient in MicroStation, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads Designer;
Experience working with large multi-discipline teams;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and overall quality control and management; and;
Conscientious of project schedules and deadlines involving deliverables (including interim deadlines).

Preferred Qualifications:

GDOT experience
Experience working on General Engineering Consultant and Design-Build contracts

Advanced knowledge of CADD and drainage software
