Who We Are

Revvable is a seed stage startup focused on transforming powersports (e.g. ATVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs and more) by bringing modern technology to the industry. To do this, we are building a software platform to make the day-to-day life of dealerships employees easier while giving general managers and owners more insights and control into their operations. We have dozens of dealerships using our products today and now we're looking to continue to grow our team to build more products that dealers love.

Who You Are

We are looking for a technical leader who has a deep computer science and software engineering background. You have spent time building and scaling software at tech-focused companies, where you are seen as the go-to technical leader by your peers. You enjoy building and shipping best-in-class software that solves important problems for your customers.

• Strong software-oriented background/acumen, preferably with specific SaaS experience
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience
• Experience hiring and building world-class technology teams
• Experience with building and launching high quality products from ideation to iteration
• BS in CS or other related field

What You'll Do

• Oversee all aspects of engineering including leading technology strategy, execution, people management, sourcing and recruiting
• On an average day you'll work with our product manager and a handful of other engineers to build full-stack features, improvements and products for powersports dealerships
• Own and develop large portions of Revvable's platform
• Leverage the latest web development trends and technology to ensure our apps are of the highest possible quality
• Solve challenges in architecture, performance, scalability, optimization and more
• Support our products and operations teams by answering questions and being on-call (1-2x per quarter)
• Lay the foundation for the engineering organization by co-creating guidelines and frameworks in the years ahead
• Work in a fun industry (we help people sell smiles)

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading teams of engineers
• 10+ years of experience as full stack engineer or manager
• Ability to break down projects into team plans and engineering designs
• Desire to both manage teams as well as roll up your sleeves and contribute to our codebase
• Can commute to our Mission office in San Francisco, CA 2+ days per week
• Bonus if you have experience in a startup environment
• Bonus if you are interested in motorcycles and/or powersports
• Bonus if you have experience with React & Redux
• Bonus if you have experience with GCP or DevOps
