We are looking for customer service stars to join our team! Become an integral part of the safety and security team and help airport contractors with their security needs.
Wage: $21 - $22 per hour
We are looking for customer service stars to join our team! Become an integral part of the safety and security team and help airport contractors with their security needs. This position is flexible, and hours could be very sporadic, from nothing and on call, to full time during certain projects
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role, you get the chance to work alongside with other airport services, such as CBSA agents and airline staff. Your main duties will include:
Escort and monitor YYJ contractors and trades in secure and sensitive areas of the airport and airfield.
Ensure all contractors have valid temporary passes to work in assigned areas.
Demonstrate interest in promoting safety in the workplace.
Respond and react to any emergency situations that may occur at the workplace.
Conduct Safety and Security Orientation for contractors and trades prior to entering restricted areas.
Maintain care and control of parties under escort while in restricted areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess or able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance.
Must possess Class 5 driver's license.
Must possess or able to obtain Airside Vehicle Operator Permit.
Others:
Able to provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
Have strong communication skills.
Are eligible to work in Canada.
Have prior experience and a valid security license, which are considered an asset. If not, you're in luck! We'll help you acquire your security license and even pay for it.
Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.
