Founded in 2009 in LA, we now operate across 13 locations, offering 5 different vehicle models. One-ways and round trips are available out of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, New York, Phoenix, Orlando, Portland, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Vancouver, and Calgary.

Requirements:
This position is responsible for the conversion of vehicles from passenger vans to campervans. The candidate must be mechanically inclined, and very experienced in general construction - carpentry, metalworking, assembly, light electrical. Attention to detail and strong work ethic is required.
Details:
START DATE OCTOBER 15th
FULL TIME SEASONAL
This position lasts for the duration of our van conversion process with the possibility to transition to full time at the end of the project.
General Qualifications:
Current driver's license and clean driving record
Strong knowledge of general construction practices - electrical, carpentry, metal working, and assembly
Experience safely operating hand tools and power tools
Positive, team-oriented mindset
Proactive and independent
Effective comunicator
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Break down various van components and prepare vans for installation
Assemble cabinets, tables and other components
Install campervan appliances, curtains, tables, stoves, sinks, cabinets, and other campervan components
Test systems and ensure proper functionality of all campervan equipment and components
Maintain a clean and organized work space
Coordinate with other team members, 3rd party vendors and departments
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, and carpentry
Strong knowledge of use, safety, and maintenance of power tools
Strong knowledge of use, safety, and maintenance of power and hand metalworking tools
Knowledge and experience working with building materials and finishes (plywood, starboard, aluminum, steel, vinyl, etc.)
Proficient with material properties, fastening methods, failure mode, and structural stresses / load
Proficient in operating power tools
Mechanical Duties:
Install and repair mechanical components
Cut through vehicle body panels to install components like pop-tops
Electrical Duties:
Install wiring harnesses
Install, QA, and repair electrical components and wiring including fridge batteries, interior lights, charge controllers
Install solar panels / systems
