Description: The HVAC Controls Validation Engineer will lead the HVAC software validation activities for automotive vehicle programs in the areas of ATC (Automatic Temperature control), MTC (Manual Temperature control), and overall system climate control comfort logic. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Development and execution of HVAC controls validation and testing plans. Documentation of issues found and follow-up testing to confirm corrective actions. Sharing of lesson's learned across global validation resources. Continuous improvement actions for validation processes. Lead issue resolution on systemic and interface issues both in vehicle and at the assembly plants. Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university. 1 to 3 years' experience in embedded controls hardware in the loop (HIL) validation. CAN/LIN bus knowledge and/or circuit analysis experience. Ability to root cause HVAC control issues in programs that are in the development phase as well as programs that are in volume production.
