Movie Production Security Guard position with Reel Security of California, Inc.
Reel Security is the leading global provider of security services to the film and entertainment industry. Headquartered in Los Angeles and with over 20 years' experience in the industry, we provide best-in-class security for Film/TV Production, Live Events, Executive Protection, and Confidentiality/IP Protection. We support our clients across a range of productions from feature films to commercials, award shows and special events. We work with every major studio including Fox, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Amazon, HBO, Netflix, just to name a few.
In addition to our HQ office in Los Angeles, we have locations in Atlanta, New Orleans, New Mexico and have recently opened operations in London.
About the Position:
Reel Security officers are primarily responsible for protecting valuable equipment and production property in temporary outdoor locations in Southern California.
Some of the duties of our security officers:
Monitor and protect client property at temporary sites from intrusion and theft.
Record and log incoming drop-offs and pickups of client equipment at temporary sites.
Patrol client areas to detect potential unsecured property.
Obtain information of incidents that occur on post and writes incident reports.
Assists client location management and enforcement officers in possible emergency situations.
Monitor temporary 'no parking' posting in order to inform public of the signage to ensure parking area remains clear.
Monitor a client's temporary sites to prevent trespassing.
Officers may be required to lift up to 25 pounds with the direction of a supervisor.
All posts are temporary and all scheduling is done ON CALL.

VALID CALIFORNIA GUARD CARD (LICENSE)
