Position Overview
As a security officer for McCray Global Protection, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the assets of our customers.
A security officer's duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Monitoring and analyzing CCTV camera footage.
Guarding valuables in an assigned area.
Responding to alarms and emergencies.
Communicating any irregularities with on-site management.
Keeping an incident report record.
Following procedures for emergency situations
Checking visitors in and out of an area.
Escorting visitors around a premises.
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Monitor and authorize entrance of persons into a property.
Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must have valid security guard licenses and/or certifications based on state and local requirements in the area where the position is located.
Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located.
