WE ARE HIRING!!!
We are currently seeking 15 full-time truss builders to join our team, here in the northern Las Vegas area.
The Job will start between June 21st and June 25th. Temp to hire, 3 months probationary period then getting hired on.
The Truss Builder will work under direct supervision of the Shift Lead or Supervisor and will perform one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line producing building material components in a safe and efficient manner as needed to meet required production standards.
Pay: $15 an hour Monday - Friday
Description:
Assembles product with hand tools, helps setup on table, and separates material at workstation
Places proper material into setup according to specifications on cut sheet
Uses roller gantry equipment to place and press plates on appropriate lumber by job
Follows production list by priority as given to complete set shift goals
Ensures the entire order is built as specified by documentation, with no missing parts
Verifies receipt of correct materials from the saw shop for each job/batch
Complies with all safety rules in/outside of the shop area and yard, including wearing proper PPE
Responsible for following maintenance and machine cleanup procedures on a daily, or more frequent/needed basis in work area, without exception
Table assembly of wood roof and floor trusses
Stacking of lumber and trusses
