Job Summary: Deliver and pick up parts and supplies as required from suppliers, adhering to the rules of the road and the safety, quality and quantity standards of Aurora Bearing Company.

Job Functions:

• Perform all duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality. Follow Company and departmental procedures, including regular attendance and punctuality. Follow all safety rules and keep work area and vehicles in a clean and orderly condition. Report any unusual conditions or situations to Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Drive Company vehicles to and from suppliers to pick up and deliver parts and supplies as assigned.
• Load and unload vehicles using necessary equipment. Get assistance if necessary.
• Make physical and visual inspections of vehicle to be used (truck, forklift, power pallet lifter, etc.). Make necessary adjustments and fill out required paperwork.
• Report any unusual conditions during operation of all vehicles and report necessary maintenance to Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Report any unusual conditions at any outside suppliers to Lead person or Supervisor.
• Pack and/or weigh parts going out to suppliers.
• Maintain all vehicle fluid levels.

• Perform any in shop functions when all required duties are completed as directed by Lead person or Supervisor.

Knowledge: Proper operation of various size trucks. General machine aptitude, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers including decimals, conversion of metrics, ability to read and understand blueprints and various gauging equipment.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software: All transportation vehicles owned or leased by Aurora Bearing Company, forklift, basic hand tools, micrometer, gauging equipment, two wheel hand dolly, power pallet lifter, die cart/lifter, pallet lifter.
