What You'll Do

The Troubleshooting Engineer provides a technical training especially trouble shooting related diagnostic tools to internal/external service managers, dealer technicians and helps them enhance their competency on trouble shooting and diagnostic tools. This position will also be in charge of development of diagnostic tools by gathering information upon trouble shootings and training exercises.

Technical Training - Make trips on major unsolved field issues (machine down) upon district service managers' pre-investigation and guide them on how to trouble shoot with correct tools and procedures.

Make evaluations regarding district service manager and trouble shooters and suggestions on how to enhance technical competency.

Provide up-to-date product tech knowledge from Engineering Manufacturing and Service

Troubleshooting Major issues - Provide crucial information to field problems in cooperation with factory engineering and service organization.

Diagnostic Tools - Develop or update diagnostic tools by providing suggestions coming from experience and comparison with other brands.

Technical Documentation - Enhance credibility of the technical documentation by correcting errors and providing a clearer communication method for technicians to easily understand.

Requirements:

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's or Technical Degree + Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on equipment operation experience with construction or agricultural type equipment
• Technical product knowledge and aptitude (Heavy Excavator, Wheel Loader, ADT and Dozer)
• Engine Diagnostic Tools
• Effective cross-functional teamwork skills
• Adequate communication and interpersonal skills
• MS Office Suite competency
• Travel Required: 20-50%
• Global Breadth: North America
