Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Repairs company camera systems (Verkada) and networks, including but not limited to:
Proactively anticipating, analyzing, assessing, and making repairs as needed and in a timely manner, at every level of complexity
Auditing systems for deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Conducting product research and analysis
identifying and proposing targeted solutions
Purchases and installs needed parts and technology as required
Keeping all necessary stakeholders appropriately informed on repair statuses and next steps
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of equipment standards and technology
Consistent and sustained adherence to Monarch Professional Behavioral Standards
Additional assignments and projects as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required (unless otherwise specified):
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
An Associate's degree or above in electrical engineering, networking, or related preferred
1+ years' experience with security camera systems preferred
1+ years' experience working with electrical and/or networking installation, layouts, and organization
High-level problem-solving skills
Actively demonstrates how to:
Prioritize urgent tasks and pivot between priorities when needed
Stay well-organized and adhere to deadlines
Maintain a customer-oriented approach regardless of workload
Communicate exceptionally well and effectively, both verbally and written
Navigate MS Office Suite, other software, and various online applications
Foster collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organization, particularly with members of cross functional project teams and outside vendors
Travel Requirements:
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work
Nationally and locally approximately 75% of the time
