Job Overview
Ocean Trailer has employment opportunities for certified and non-certified Transport Trailer Mechanics in our Edmonton branch. Applicants must be safety conscious and dependable with a high degree of technical knowledge in servicing all makes of highway trailers.
Duties Include:
Troubleshoot and repair (commercial) trailers
Air & ABS braking systems
Electrical, Axles, Wheels and Tires
Disassemble, inspect and replace parts
Inspection of trailers for CVIP's and new PDI's
Trailer Chassis and frame straightening
Suspension, including some welding
Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Willing to work mobile truck when needed
Requirements:
Journeyman & Licensed Tech in trailer repairs is an asset
CVI ticket an asset
Must have strong mechanical knowledge and understanding
Good Time Management skills required
Must have effective Problem-Solving skills
Good Teamwork skills
Must have a Good Attitude and Desire to Learn
Should take Pride in your work
Have your own Tools and Transportation
