Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Support and Training Segment is seeking qualified individuals to design and develop simulation based training devices. This position will be permanently located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program Training Devices team.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What You'll Get To Do:
Qualified applicants will perform technical planning, system design and integration, verification and validation, risk identification and mitigation. Analyses are performed for training devices to include: design, fabrication, test, and installation. Qualified applicants must have a strong systems engineering process background and will be required to develop training requirements into trainer system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Qualified applicants will participate in customer Government Program Team (GPT) meetings, presenting the design and implementation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

You'll bring these qualifications:
- Level 2 : 2 years systems engineering experience with BS in Engineering or nominal experience with a Masters degree for the qualifications below.
- Level 3: 5 years systems engineering experience with BS in Engineering or 3 years experience with a Masters degree for the qualifications below.
- Strong Engineering (MBSE) Process background
- Background in software and/or hardware engineering
- Development of System/Subsystem specifications
- Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an interim Secret Security clearance pre-start, and with the ability to obtain a final Secret Security level clearance post-start.
- Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employment.
- Software Design Experience
- DoD Training Systems Experience
- Modeling and Simulation Experience
- DoD Acquisition Framework Experience
- Prior utilization of DOORS or similar tool(s)
- DEVSECOPS history
- Agile execution or application to project or program or technical activities
- Active Top Secret Clearance
