As a Bison Technician, you will enjoy working in a clean, innovative, and professional team-oriented shop. We are devoted to your career advancement as a skilled technician and support national tractor and trailer apprentice certification programs. All our technicians are enrolled in the Technician Safety Award Program, providing awards and recognition for safety.
As a Tractor Technician, you will work in conjunction with other Tractor Technicians and functional maintenance departments to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet. Diagnosing problems found during inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action in a timely and efficient manner are at the core of this role.
Qualifications:
You are a registered Apprentice or Journeyperson
Graduation from a recognized certificate program (ex. Truck and Transport Technician, Heavy Duty Technician), or the desire to obtain your Journeyman's certificate will be key to your success in this position
Effective time management and team focus
