Job Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform maintenance on all tooling. Performing machining duties as required for maintenance personal. Perform die change oversees and assists in trouble shooting set ups at presses.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform minor and major repairs on stamping dies and shop equipment.
All inclusive trouble shooting of stamping dies and stamping process.
Follow up on prototypes
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain log and schedule for all stamping dies.
Perform other duties as assigned and required.
Must have own tools
Perform die change overs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must pass pre-hire physical and drug test.
Must be able to work any shift
Experience and skill in the following areas:
o Troubleshooting of progressive dies and die build
o Exp. with progressive stamping dies
o Die maintenance.
o Machining experience.
o Vertical mill, lathe, surface grinders.
Knowledge in use of pertinent measuring devices
Journeyman card or equivalent experience of 6+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
Auto Cad experience
Factory work experience
Mechanical experience.
Basic Welding experience
