SCHOCK will be seeking a Tool and Equipment Construction Specialist for our Martinsville facility. The Tool and Equipment Construction Specialist is responsible for the construction of casting machines, equipment and the construction and design of new product tools.

Duties

• Creation of manufacturing specifications (machine drawings)
• Tool construction for casting machines
• Participation in the planning and procurement of new systems
• Participation in the development of new molding techniques and automation projects for production processes
• Cost optimization
• Works closely with production and product development to ensure smooth production for new products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment construction and development or similar fields
• Experience with CAD systems, ideally with Creo and/or Inventor

• Understanding of Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills
