Job Overview
Direct-hire
Inspect, repair, and mount commercial truck tires or public transit bus tires
SHIFT: Day 7 AM -3 PM OR Evening 11 PM - 7 AM Monday to Friday
PAY: $20 and Up (DOE)
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 1 year of tire repair experience.
Tablet work order experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents: such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Pass the pre-screening process including drug tests, criminal, employer, and driving background checks.
DUTIES
Place wheels on balancing machines, seal punctures and exert pressure to ensure good adhesion.
Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Wear safety gear and follow all safety guidelines
Ability to use hand and power tools
Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and able to push/pull
