ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Maintains and grooms features in the terrain park and surrounding slopes

- Operates P B400 and PB600 snowcats in a safe and efficient manner

- Maintains fluid levels, performs daily machine inspections , and reports any /all damage to vehicle maintenance

- Assist s in the building , installation , and transport of terrain park jibs and snow feature s

-Completes required hand/rake work around terrain park features when needed

- Assist s the rest of the grooming crew when possible

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid drivers license

  • M inimum 2 years snow grooming experience

  • Knowledge of terrain park terminology and practice s

  • Ability to ski/ ride terrain park features preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • T his position is required to work evenings and/or overnight , weekends and holiday s while in operation .

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60 pounds on an occasional basis , and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis .

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time while seated .

  • Manual dexterity to operate hand tool s such as rakes , shovels, and basic carpentry tools .

  • Ability to work outside in ANY AND ALL weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, high winds, and cold temperatures .

  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
