Penski Staffing a CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Temporary Property Maintenance Technician in for an apartment complex in Evans Mills, NY.
$16.50/hour DOE
Monday to Friday , 8am to 5pm
The Temporary Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all indoor and outdoor maintenance on two apartment communities in the area, totaling 204 units. You must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and boiler repair; HVAC experience preferred.
Job Duties:
-2+ years prior maintenance skills -- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills; HVAC helpful or will train.
-Prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills helpful.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to work overtime if needed
- Multi tasking oriented
- Position is also responsible for grounds maintenance and snow removal.
- Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities.
- Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a team.
- Strong customer service skills required and experience working with seniors is a plus.
- Will be responsible to cover on-call emergencies on a rotational basis.
