Salary: From $15/hour + $1 for 2nd shift, or $2 for 3rd and weekends!
$1000 Hiring Bonus:
A $500 BONUS will be paid out to you after 6 months of employment and and additional $500 BONUS will be paid to you after 9 months of employment (if continued employment in an evening, night, or weekend shift).
Job Summary
Set Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm - 12am
Perform all aspects of the A/R Coating process. This process applies Anti-Reflective coating to ophthalmic lenses. Primary responsibilities include lens inspection, reprocessing of cosmetic defects and proper machine bath maintenance and chemical additions. Employee is responsible for the quality of the work performed and is expected to know the quality and safety requirements for every operation that they perform.
Training is provided and will occur at our Brooklyn Park Optical Service Center.
Duties
Inspect, rack and make lenses ready for coating
Load racks into dip coating machine
Prepare all solutions for the coating process & assure daily supplies are stocked
Sandblast A/R Coater parts
Perform maintenance on production equipment
Sort incoming work by date, material and process
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Prior optical experience preferred
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude preferred
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Requirements
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Age 18 or older
