This is a direct hire position. What You Will Do: Our global LiDAR development is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. For this location, we are seeking a passionate and highly self-motivated Systems Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate has several years of systems engineering experience in a leading role and comes with a solid technical and managerial background, ready to drive and shape LiDAR technology as a key enabler for Autonomous Mobility. Are you ready to shape the future with us? In this role, you will assume the global responsibility for LiDAR Systems Engineering will be reporting to the Head of Engineering Product Line LiDAR. The Systems Engineering Manager is leading and managing a global team responsible for Systems Engineering, Sensor Architecture, Product test specifications, Requirements Management, Functional Safety process, Cyber security, Change Management process, FMEA, among others. Systems engineering will help to develop best in class LiDAR solutions across the full product portfolio: Base development of our High Performance Long-Range LiDAR. Base development for our next generation Short-Range LiDAR. Adaptation/application of modules in all customer application projects ww. What You Will Need: Basics: Bachelor's degree in engineering related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive engineering and/or application development as a tier 1 / tier 2 supplier in the automotive market. Minimum 3 years of experience with complex, software-dominated automotive systems, preferably driver assistance systems. Minimum 7 years of relevant professional working experience. Deep understanding of complex technical issues. Preferred: Relevant industry experience in leading engineering roles, preferably in LiDAR and/or Camera market. 2+ yrs. International Experience.
