Job Description Join our collaborative team at CVS Healthcare and become part of the Messaging Team focused on Kafka and Nifi. As a Manager of Systems Engineering, you will be a member of a team that will design, configure, build, and maintain a Multi-Platform Shared Enterprise Event Messaging Ecosystem on premise and in the public cloud in support of the Enterprise Healthcare, Retail, and Pharmacy businesses. You must embrace technology, be open to learning, building new solutions, and be a technical evangelist viewing technology as a solution to advance our consumer engagement and best in class experience. Please note this position is available anywhere in the United States, fully remote and you will need to consider work off hours, on call schedules, nights, and weekends. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: 34.81 Maximum: 80.29 Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Relevant Systems Engineering Experience. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience with Kafka, preferable Confluent Kafka with RBAC. 1+ years of Infrastructure experience on kafka brokers, zookeepers, connectors, ksql/streams, consumers and producers in a high volume, mission critical environment with data replication between 2 remote data centers. 1+ years of experience in a cloud computing environment, preferably GCP. 1+ years of Linux experience. Experience working in mission critical large enterprise production environments with strong HA/DBAR knowledge. Experience with performance tuning. Experience and solid understanding of TCP/IP. Experience with security policies and guidelines, adherence/enforcement of company policies and standards, and authorization and authentication for protecting sensitive assets. Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to solve technical problems quickly. Experience with Confluent Cloud Deployments. Experience with Unix Scripting. Experience with automation, preferably Ansible. Ability to concisely explain complex technical findings to audiences at all levels. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
