Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Systems Engineer for our military synthetic training operations based at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. NGDS is an industry leader in developing, systems for the US Department of Defense. Our engineering teams perform a variety of tasks leading to include integration, test, and sustainment of DOD Systems worldwide.
Responsibilities
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. - Install, configure, and debug
- Perform integration and testing activities
- Identify integration issues and system requirements
- Assist with test plans, test reports
- Assist with system requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or master's degree and 0 years' experience
- Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to support integration and testing of various applications
- Familiarization with computer networking
- Familiarization with cyber security
- Active US DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Familiarization with DoD SATCOM and intelligence operations, concepts and training methodologies
- Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function
- Possess a working knowledge of software programming functional design and implementation concepts
- Experience performing computer system and software performance analysis
- Experience with hardware virtualization Familiarization with synthetic training modeling and simulations standards (DIS, HLA, TENA) and typical military synthetic training operations
