The Systems Engineer is responsible for the following:

Assess and identify appropriate solutions to be implemented into our clients IT environment and make solution recommendations to the sales team(vCIO)
Completely own, execute and manage customer projects and internal initiatives.
Understand design and implementation of core networks
Participate in project design, estimation, and implementation
Resolve escalated inbound hardware, software, or network technical support requests, via email, phone and web
Document customer interaction with high attention to detail and accuracy within ConnectWise system

Fully staffed NOC team handling on-call and other delegation from engineering staff
$60,000-$90,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

(ranked highest preferred to lowest):
Consulting experience or a comprehensive understanding of a consultancy role and the business/financial impact of technology decisions for our customers
6+ years providing systems administration
Server Administration: troubleshooting servers and associated applications, installing new servers.
Networking(Cisco): implementing & supporting managed switches, routing & vlans.
Microsoft Azure and Intune
Virtualization: Hyper-V, VMWare
Experience and understanding of:
- ConnectWise Suite
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, One Drive, SharePoint)
- Microsoft Windows, Windows Server
- Cisco Meraki
- ESET Security, Cisco Umbrella
- Active Directory
- Apple OS, Android, iOS
Tenacious desire to solve complex technical problems
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Desire to learn new technology
Positive and friendly attitude
Transportation to and from clients required
