GPI is seeking an entry-to-mid-level Survey CAD Technician with a minimum of two (2) years of experience for our Salem, NH office. This position is responsible for developing survey plans and boundary surveys in AutoCAD Civil 3D; processing and importing field data into working drawings, existing conditions base sheets, and finished plans. The Survey CAD Technician will work under the direction of a Project Surveyor. GPI is willing to train an ambitious and career-oriented individual who may lack the preferred minimum experience. Preference would be given to applicants with Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) Certification and previous field/office survey experience.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and completing drawings in accordance with project requirements using computer-aided design/drafting equipment
• Modifying drawings as directed by the project manager or project surveyor
• Working closely with other surveyors and engineers to ensure a coordinated design
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary
• Occasionally assisting field crews as necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting boundary and topographic surveys (Flexible)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D in survey capacity
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Preference to candidates proficient in AutoCAD
