Kiewit's South Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include mass grading, drainage, paving, utility, and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. • Previous land/construction survey or engineering experience a plus
• Proficiency in CAD is required (at least one, all 3 is a plus)
• Trimble Business Center

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans to generate

• Estimates (takeoff for all disciplines)
• 3D models (surfaces, corridors, and structures)

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required
• Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage)
• Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
• Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity
• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
• Committed to working safe and getting the job done right the first time
