The Senior Software Engineer in Quality Engineering will work within Bind's Platform to write automated tests (functional, system, integration, unit, performance, security, data integrity) to ensure a secure, performant, functional software platform.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Primary Responsibilities:
- Work within a delivery team to ensure Product Stories acceptance criteria is met by writing automated tests
- Work with cross functional delivery teams to ensure dependencies to not cause regressions
- Work with QE team to enhance and streamline code. Share knowledge and experience with other QE members
- Continually strive to improve SDLC, code, CI/CD, and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Development or other technical field or relevant experience
- Ability to work with members of a team in different disciplines
- Ability to work with remote staff
- Ability to be flexible in technologies and flexible in team assignments
- Ability to proactively ask questions, and seek answers
- Proven excellent coding skills, preferably in Java/Groovy/Python. Other languages are acceptable
- Experience working in the Agile Development Framework
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree
- Solid Python experience
- Ascend or Databricks experience
- Data pipeline experience
