Job Overview

Job Responsibilities Program management of contracted operations and maintenance service providers (note, service provider contracts include on site leadership who manage standard operations and maintenance work, and provide personnel management for their teams). Accountable manager for operation and maintenance of the following systems: CVD: Process gas and chemical supply and distribution, bulk gas supply and distribution, precursor chemical supply systems, process vacuum pumps, point of use burn-wash abatement units, and general utilities at the point of use level (compressed air, N2, cooling water, exhaust, etc.). ECD: Liquid process chemical supply and distribution, ultra pure water supply and distribution, liquid waste collection including gravity drains and lift stations, waste water pretreatment, acid waste neutralization, building scrubbers (wet side only), and general utilities at the point of use level (compressed air, N2, cooling water, exhaust, etc.). Accountable manager of the gas and chemical inventory management team. Owner of annual operations budget, associated blanket purchase orders, and invoices to support service provider labor, bulk gas and chemicals supplies, spare parts, consumable materials, hazardous wastes, and emergency repairs; including quarterly spend forecasts. Single point of contact for lab internal customer inquiries, nonstandard requests, and escalations. Other Job Responsibilities Owner of associated procedures and operations business process documentation Responsible for key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for budget, on time work order completion, in specification system operation, and interruptions to lab experiments/production Incident/event reporting and root cause analysis for systems of responsibility Participate in design reviews for new support equipment and infrastructure installations and upgrades Willingness to travel foreign & domestic Minimum Qualifications BS degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering with 3 years of industrial experience and contractor management/coordination. Experience with industrial water systems (i.e. waste treatment, waste collection, ultra-pure water, and wet scrubber systems) and/or industrial gas systems (i.e. natural gas, process gases, bulk gas systems). Or, in lieu of a BS degree, minimum of 15 years of operations experience in a leadership position(s) in the semiconductor industry. Semiconductor industry experience to include significant time with responsibility to support operations and maintenance of subfab/direct support equipment, and facilities infrastructure systems. Other Beneficial Qualifications: BS in mechanical or chemical engineering with 5-8 years of semiconductor industry experience Experience with operations, maintenance and/or design of waste treatment, waste collection, ultra-pure water, and scrubber systems Experience with operations, maintenance and/or design of semiconductor process gas and chemical source and distribution systems Experience supporting semiconductor process vacuum pumps and abatement systems Experience supporting CVD and/or ECD semiconductor equipment operation and maintenance Experience managing contractors, scopes of work, and service levels Our Commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
