Your 'day to day'
• Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss.
• Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS
• Define and establish validation strategy, plans and related procedures to provide guidance to project and process engineers to qualify and validate manufacturing process, equipment, utilities and local computerized systems.
• Through effective communication and training initiatives develop staff in projects and validation team to ensure that validation projects are carried out in accordance with internal Policies and Procedures. Review and approve Protocols, Summary Reports and other documentation associated with validations, as appropriate for each validation exercise.
• Coordinate the Site Validation Master Plan and Validation Master Plans construction and serves as technical expert for the Validation process and responsibilities to ensure compliance.
• Define, document and maintain the risk assessments (for projects and operations changes) of new and existing system to support risk based validation approach.
• Coordinate and oversee the timely and accurate preparation, issuing and maintenance of manufacturing specifications in order to ensure the manufacture in accordance with PMI requirements.
• Closely cooperate with Central Spec Office team to achieve the optimum results in the specs creation process. MASTER BATCH RECORD Ensure effective process for the creation/update of Master Batch Record (MBR). Ensure the accuracy and correctness of the document as well as it is availability for the production team at time.
• Facilitates, encourage and coordinate continuous improvement with respect to validation activities. Keep management informed of significant quality issues in a manner commensurate with the potential impact of the issue on public health, employee health & safety, company operations, and/or the environment.
• Manage and develop a motivated and skilled team to ensure performance levels, professional development and achievement of objectives, in respect of PMI leadership model.
• Create an environment in which each member of the team is motivated to express own talent and potential.
• Develop and drive the execution of a Qualification matrix and training path for each role. Facilitates successful team behavior within Quality Systems and across functional areas.
• Manages relationships externally and internally. Builds cross-functional and cross-departmental support, fostering overall effectiveness. Ensure compliance through assisting in audits. Ensure that all validation activities are carried out and reported in a timely manner.
• Lead and coordinate Change Management process within the affiliate in line with PMI requirements.
• Create awareness within the organization with regards to Validation/Qualification requirements in line with PMI Requirements. Ensure that Validation/Qualification deliverables are fulfilled by guiding and supporting project teams during all project phases.
• Act as Pillar Member of the assigned pillar. Contribute to the full year pillar plan definition and implementation aligned with OPEN+ Phase journey.
• Participate and contribute to pillar reviews definition and implementation as per defined frequency. Responsible for implementation of Standard work process defined in Pillars. Ensure self and team capabilities based on step-up cards.
Who we're looking for
• Master degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Engineering or relevant skills through demonstrated experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in similar or equivalent context in quality assurance: tobacco, food, pharmaceutical industry. Excellent knowledge of Product/Process Qualification/Validation and Customer Care. Experience in managerial role and leading teams required.
• Product and process qualification/validation; Analytical skills; Strong ability to transform data into information (reporting skills); Excellent know how on relevant standards (ISO, GMP, GCP, ICH, GLP, etc.).
