Participating in project planning, design, and user interface sessions to understand business requirements. Leading test planning and test execution activities for large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Data Migration, Data Conversion and other assigned projects. Defining and implementing the overall test strategy, test approach and test plan. Building test automation solutions for functional and regression testing using scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and VBScript. Creating complex SQL queries for testing ETL code based on the data mapping and requirements. Analyzing and identifying test data in mainframe and in relational databases such as Oracle, Greenplum and SQL Server. Creating project and test components in Microfocus ALM (Previously known as HP ALM or Quality Center), ensuring adequate requirement coverage and traceability between requirements and test scripts. Finding, documenting and tracking bugs through resolution using defect management tools such as Microfocus ALM (Previously known as HP ALM or Quality Center) and JIRA. Communicating and collaborating with project stakeholders from Project Management, Development and other teams. Preparing and conducting test readiness activities, ensure that all test phases have appropriate entry / exit criteria and monitor achievement of these criteria. Reviewing test results to determine if product specifications are met in line with requirements and standards. Identifying and evaluating testing related risks, create and execute mitigation plan

Qualifications - External

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 7 years of quality engineering experience in the Banking or financial services industry; 5 years of experience must include performing quality engineering with multi domain data warehouse and data systems involving a minimum of 3 of the following technologies: Oracle, Greenplum, SQL Server or AWS Cloud; 3 years of experience must include retrieving and analyzing IBM Mainframe data using FileAid or REXX tools; using HP-ALM test management tool; and performing SQL scripting and scripting with Python, VB Script or Javascript.

Other: Position allows 100% remote employment from anywhere in the U.S.
