Our client is a leading privately held, family-owned, General Contractor in the New York metropolitan region focusing primarily on public works projects. They are looking for a talented Superintendent with school construction experience for current and upcoming projects. To be considered for the role see below:

Primary Responsibilities

Promote a culture of construction safety in all activities;
Managing and coordinating all operational aspects of ground up $30MM-$100MM general construction project;
Maintain adherence to project schedule and identify project risks;
Manage and effectively coordinator various trade/subcontractors and material deliveries;
Along with Project Manager, oversee the use of Procore by the construction team;
Work directly with owner project officers to effectively communicate throughout construction process;
Monitor production and construction quantities on a consistent basis for analysis of production and adherence to schedule and budget;
Maintain and monitor timesheets for craft employees;
Coordinate inspections, testing, walk throughs;
Maintain closeout process for project including punch-list items;

Requirements:

7+ years experience as lead superintendent in public works projects (extensively with MTA & NYCSCA)
Experience with ground up construction
5+ years experience managing personnel
Demonstrated proficiency is reading construction plans and specifications
Hold Construction Superintendent's Registration with NYC DOB
Hold SST Supervisor card
