Innovative General Contractor with a diverse portfolio of health-care, commercial, and educational projects is actively seeking for a Superintendent on Long Island.
The qualified individual will have exposure to construction of medical facilities such as; hospitals, ambulatory care, medical centers, and laboratories
Responsibilities:
Schedule, coordinate, plan and direct all field operations with a focus on Quality Control, Safety, Cost Control, and Customer Satisfaction
Create and update project schedules; Two week look-aheads and daily reports
Direct supervision of subcontractors to ensure requirements are met
Coordinate with Engineering, Estimating, and Project Management teams regarding specifications, drawings, schedule, and budget
Establish and maintain Site Safety regulations throughout a project's entirety, including conducting weekly safety meetings and tool-box talks
Develop logistics and expedite the permitting and approvals process as necessary
Requirements:
Four (4) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
Knowledge and experience in health-care construction standards preferred
Proficiency in MS Office and construction software (ProCore, CAD, PlanGrid, etc.)
Thorough knowledge of construction safety, mitigation, and control methods
