Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Superintendent within a GC
• Experience overseeing the development of multi-family structures such as hotels, apartments, condos, universities, etc.
• Experience building type II, III, IV, and/or V podium deck development

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that construction is carried out according to building codes and standards, which may require working with architects and engineers
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards, as well as identifying areas that need improvement
• Scheduling and coordinating workers to ensure they have the materials they need to complete their tasks
• Assigning and overseeing workers who assist in the construction process, including laborers, masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and engineers
• Communicating with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintaining records of materials used in construction projects for accounting purposes
• Reviewing plans, designs, and other documents to determine if they meet industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Managing the bidding process for new projects, negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers, and overseeing the bidding process until contracts are awarded
