Highway Safety Corporation is a major manufacturer and supplier of highway guardrail products that has been serving the highway construction industry for over 40 years. We are looking to bring on an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join our team.

The Position:
The Steel Detailer will prepare detailed plans, shop drawings and other documents for the fabrication and erection of steel components.
Prepare layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D CAD, and construction drawings
Support the development of work plans and schedules including an estimate of material quantities and design deliverables to meet the project milestones
Prepare or assist with the preparation of assigned material requisitions and bid evaluations
About You:
You have a strong working knowledge of detailing design standards and guidelines for AISC steel construction
You are familiar and comfortable working with contract plans and specifications
You possess Strong AutoCad and Excel experience
You have a high attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills
Lastly, you are a responsible, reliable employee who has a solid work ethic and drive to be a valuable asset to the company
