Structural Engineer

A & A Engineering in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a suitable Structural Engineer with a vision for innovation and problem solving. This position is long term and anticipated to start right away. Requirements:
BS Civil Engineering Degree required.
Experience may have been gained before, during or after obtaining Degree.

Familiarity or experience with AutoCAD preferred.
Structural engineering software experience in STAAD.pro, Etabs, SAP2000, etc. preferred.
Familiar with or willing to learn engineering design codes.
IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, AISI, NDS, and AWS codes
Excellent client communication and service skills required.

Job expectations:
Working with in-house design software and modifying/finalizing plans.
Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process and following instruction of supervisor/reviewer to create basic calculations packages and drawings for specific projects.
Correspond and assist clients regarding project requirements, issues, and progress.
Perform site visits as needed.
