Our client, located in Phoenix, AZ , is in search of a Structural Engineer to join their reputable team.

Responsibilities :

This position will have room for growth into a lead role including fast track opportunities for partnership if all criteria are met. Responsibilities will include:

• Full engineering of ground up buildings including foundation

• Focus on Retail Pad buildings built in Wood

• Site adapts for brand prototype locations across the country

• Engineering Analysis for New Product Development

• Responsible for oversight of the Design Drafting Manager for typical Truss Design and Layout projects that G2 Connect companies routinely sell in the Western United States

• Responsible for training the Design Drafting Team on Structural Engineering Drafting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• 3-4 years of work experience in Structural Engineering. Will consider Civil applicants with Structural experience

Note: It is preferred that applicants have at least 8 years of experience but applicants with 5-7 years' experience will be considered if they meet the other criteria

• Current Professional Registration required and possess or can attain NCEES Council of Record. Multiple state registrations will be required as part of the position

• CA Registration (Civil or Structural) is highly desired

• Applicants would be required to live in the Phoenix, AZ area (relocation offered)

• Revit knowledge is a plus

• Prior management and leadership experience 1+years

• Structural, civil, architectural, design OR construction background and experience

• Must have previous wood experience (hands on experience)

• Construction project management experience (highly preferred)
