JOB The Town is seeking a Maintenance Worker in our streets department to perform skilled work in a variety of public works, parks, landscape and utilities construction, maintenance and repair projects. The position is primarily street and sidewalk work and requires after-hours work in snow and ice removal. The successful candidate must have a valid drivers license. A Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is preferred. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Performs a variety of unskilled and semiskilled manual labor tasks in the maintenance and repair of public facilities, buildings, grounds, streets, utilities, and related facilities.Spreads asphalt and patches street surface; assists with concrete work.Assists with snow and ice removal.Assists other crews when needed.Clean up debris from streets and sidewalks.Available After hoursPerform related tasks as required.
