Northrop Grumman is searching for an experienced Staff Engineer Mechanical Integration & Test for the Launch Vehicle business unit. This position will be located remote from Mississippi.

The Staff Engineer Mechanical Integration & test will be responsible for integration & test activities for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program to include:
- Technical interface, management and leadership for major supplier (Raytheon) and customer (MDA)
- Direct Chandler and Vandenberg I&T resources on scope execution
- Support Laboratory development and execution tasks related to work package activities
- Directly support hardware qualification activities including Qual Matrix, related I&T activities, and related program scheduling
- Participate in personnel resource planning and candidate interviewing
- Support PMAP, Quality and related audit teams as requested
- Support Program Management, Engineering Design, Manufacturing Readiness and Qualification Planning, etc. Reviews
- Concept of Operations (CONOPS) refinement in support for efficient product build and flow
- Design for Manufacturability leadership
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Education or Experience
14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
U.S. Citizenship is required

Salary Range: $129,000 USD - $193,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
