Job Overview

Alloy, an environmental remediation and demolition company has an immediate need for a Civil Project Engineer to be located at either the Montana, Colorado or Arizona location.

Summary

We are looking for Staff Civil Engineer to join our vibrant and growing Engineering division of Alloy. The desired candidate will provide project-level engineering support and field oversight for municipal, private and environmental remediation projects. This is s full-time position and will be based out of one of our division offices in Montana, Colorado, or Arizona (depending upon the successful applicant's need and preference), and will require frequent site travel.


Essential Roles and responsibilities

  • Provide civil engineering and technical support to Project Managers and other engineering staff
  • Produce plans and specifications for municipal and private civil engineering projects
  • Analyze and interpret as-built/record plans, sketches and specifications
  • Utilize working knowledge of Waterline Design, Sewer Design, Surface Grading/Stormwater Design, and Road Design to support varying project needs
  • Work effectively in the field on civil and construction projects
  • Perform specific work assignments in accordance with established and modified progress schedules and within prescribed budgets
  • Create, edit, and manage Civil 3D alignments, parcels, corridors, and surfaces
  • Coordinate with review agencies, subconsultants, and clients

Required Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • 0-3 years of applicable experience
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD and Civil3D, and exposure to engineering modeling software preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to include proven technical writing experience
  • Hands-on experience using field equipment
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail required
  • Exhibit flexibility to work on multiple projects and react to changing client expectations
  • Ability to take direction and function independently
  • Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy


Additional Skills and Requirements

  • Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Designation
  • 2+ proven years experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Academic, internship, or professional experience in land/site development design and related engineering strongly preferred
  • Proven client relationship skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000 - $90,000 annual

Travel: The role requires significant travel, up to 50%.
