If you like solving problems and working with complex materials and systems, join our amazing team! As a Sr Stress Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to analyze, evaluate, and certify our cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft capabilities. You'll examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems. Your technical duties involve the analysis of stressors of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. Learn more about IAS This specific role is within the Military Aircraft System (MAS) Business Unit of IAS' Aircraft Integration Systems (AIS) organization. MAS responds to Customer requirements to integrate new and/or enhanced capabilities into the Customer's aircraft or fleet of aircraft. MAS, as the name implies, normally makes modification to aircraft originally designed to support a military purpose; most commonly MAS works with C-130 aircraft. Specific capabilities fall generally into the categories of communications systems, (ISR) sensor systems, aircraft defensive systems, and avionics systems. MAS designs a solution which incorporates the desired "best of breed" components, and then integrates into one or more aircraft as required. Your specific responsibilities will be to analyze the designs to ensure that the products, as integrated into the Customer's aircraft will operate safely in the mission environments required. You'll also participate in the aircraft certification process through authoring of stress reports.
