The Sr. Staff Engineer Quality Engineer:
Salary Range: $150,400 USD - $225,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. The Sr. Staff Engineer Quality Engineer:
- Applies data analytic skills and performs statistical analysis identify, assess cost, and prioritize the need for process change.
- Influences change on a broad scale. Develops and implements corrective/improvement actions at the process level. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements
- Demonstrates considerable innovation in identifying alternative approaches to problems.
- Leads team members toward the identification, development, and implementation of cost effective, efficient, and technologically driven solutions.
- Serves as an authority on broad technical areas. Demonstrates ability to formally present technical solutions to senior leadership.
- Provides technical leadership, direction and mentoring to other technical employees in the application of principles, tools, and techniques to achieve practical end results.
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Serves as organization spokesperson on multiple advanced projects and/or programs that have a direct impact on the sector (both technical and non-technical).
- Acts as advisor to management, co-workers and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Maintains critical external customer contact to understand their technical needs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field
- Relevant experience of 14+ years with Bachelors in Science; 12+ years with Masters; 9+ years with PhD.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, US citizenship
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills and confidence to brief senior management
- Thorough understanding of QMS standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and RCCA processes
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams to resolve problems or issues
- Experience in Manufacturing and Quality
- Experience in Data Analytics
- Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
- Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience with GIDEP/Sentinel Process
- Understanding of Material Management Processes
- Strong SAP understanding
- Working knowledge or certification(s) in IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 standards.
