Job Description

The Sr Product Manager & Lead Auditor, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) perform virtual and on-site GHG verification audits in the US and Canada. They will coach and support other Auditors during annual witness on-site audits for applicable standards and will assist customer care with client issues. This role will conduct training for internal and external resources, auditors, and sales & operations staff. They will also support the sales team by conducting webinars and participating in industry trade shows and related activities. This position will develop GHG advisory services in carbon accounting and emissions inventory development, emissions reduction strategy development, setting Science-Based Targets, and achieving Net Zero goals.

  • Pursue and maintain technical qualifications for ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gas) family of standards and ANAB accreditation
  • Perform greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions verifications for clients via virtual and on-site audits of their operations, processes, and documentation
  • Manage GHG Auditors in performing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions verifications for clients via virtual and on-site audits of their operations, processes, and documentation
  • Perform greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions consulting services for clients related to carbon accounting, emissions inventory development, emissions reduction strategies, and net zero targets
  • Deliver public and private greenhouse gas (GHG) trainings internally and externally

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required bachelor's degree in science, environmental, engineering, or relevant discipline
  • Required 5 years of experience with GHG standards (CARB, GHG Protocol, ISO-14064, TCFD, CDP)
  • Required earned GHG Lead Auditor (ISO 14064) certificate and experience qualifications as GHG Lead Auditor
  • Preferred familiarity with ESG/sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, AA1000)

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Required valid US passport and driver's license with the ability to travel in US and Canada
  • Required GHG Lead Auditor (ISO 14064) certificate

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Required competency in using Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

TRAVEL

  • Travels up to 30% of the time, domestically in US and Canada

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Fluent English
  • Strong, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solving, planning, report writing, non-compliance findings, auditing to standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and positive interpersonal skills
  • Required integrity, tact, character, and high professional standards
