Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Project Management Analyst to join our NATO AGS program integration team at our R ancho Bernardo, CA or S ierra V ista, AZ locations . This position will support a high visibility and fast-paced foreign military sales contract. This position will primarily be that of an engineering integrator responsible for bridging the gap between project management and engineering initiatives associated with the NATO AGS program. You will be engaged in applying engineering processes to resolve and / or progress Diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) and/or modernization efforts of the NATO AGS Air Segment. The position will have frequent interactions across disciplines and organizational boundaries as well as customer interaction through presentations and working group meetings.
Responsibilities
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Responsibilities
- Create, review, and revise engineering change proposals
- Review status of projects and budgets
- Prepare status reports and present to program / customer leadership
- Develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring and controlling project progress
- Candidate may also travel up to 10% of the time in support of other CONUS/OCONUS operations
- Provide Technical support to various entities such as PMO, Subcontractors, Contracts, Product Support.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of project management (or engineering) or 13 years project management (or engineering) experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active / Current DoD Secret Clearance
- 5 years project management experience
- Working knowledge the following:
- Key Performance Indicators and Metrics
- Developing basis of estimate documents
- Contract data requirement lists
- Assist in Developing, implementing, and updating project schedules
- Developing rough order of magnitude estimates
- Developing requests for proposals
- Decomposition planning
- Engineering change proposals
- Change board process
- Engineering discipline for DMS support, with prior engineering experience in Payloads, Comms, and/or Air Vehicle IPT.
- Engineering experience
- Prior RQ-4 UAV or MQ-4 Trion and/or ground segment experience
- R-TIP radar technology experience
- Foreign military sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent negotiations skills
- Familiarity with host country (Italian) Culture, traditions, laws, etc
- Familiarity with host country (Italian) program, contracts, and capture activities
- Export Management Experience
