Job Overview
You will work as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer developing new and improving core products including hi-pressure components (valves, regulators, manifolds, etc.) and assemblies used for liquid and gas flow applications. In this role you will use scientific tools (Solidworks, etc.), processes and methods (Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.), calculations and analysis to evaluate function, materials, performance, cost, etc.
This is a long-term, direct hire position with an industry leading and World Class company located near El Cerrito, CA. Candidates must be able to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
BSME/MSME or similar, +- 10 years design engineering experience with precision machined parts and close tolerance assemblies and hi-level product reliability
Experience with AUTOCAD INVENTOR, Solidworks, Pro-E/Creo or similar
Strong engineering skills/fundamentals including calculations (FEA, flow, etc.), tolerance stack-ups and ability to justify/understand design changes/engineering decisions (Fishbone Analysis, 5 Whys, etc.)
Ideally experience with hi-pressure products and equipment (valves, regulators, manifolds, etc.)
Experience working in a structured and controlled environment (semiconductor, medical, aerospace, automotive, etc.)
Experience supporting complex sustaining design issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
